Found property is held for 90 days and then disposed of in accordance with Florida Law.

Marc A. Gilotti, Chief of Police of the Sanford Airport Police Department, hereby gives notice pursuant to Florida Statute Section 705.103(2)(b)1, of his intention to dispose of certain property as listed below. Property listed below will be disposed of after the CLAIM BY date. If you believe you are the true owner of the listed property, contact the Police Department immediately. To claim your lost property, you must provide proof of ownership and present a valid photo id.

The Chief intends to donate said property to charitable organizations, retain the property for use by the unit of government, surrender such property to the finder, or trade the property to another unit of government or state agency.  Persons wishing to lay claim to any of the above mentioned property may do so by calling and scheduling an appointment at the Police Department at (407) 585-4085. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
